This is an article about how Rodger Clemens and Barry Bonds both did not get voted into the hall of fame this year. These are two of the greatest hitters and pitchers in baseball history and they are not being voted in. This is because of the use of steroids by both of these players. Both of these players were convicted of the use of steroids, and now people are very hesitant to give awards to them because of their cheating. Major League Baseball is currently trying to reduce use of steroids in baseball, and legacies like these two players are a current reminder of what steroids can do.
I think that these two players should not be allowed into the hall of fame, and they should not get any other honors. By giving them awards, Baseball is basically encouraging others to try to cheat and get away with it. This is a good example of how someone's want for glory and fame caused them to do terrible things, and now they are facing the consequences. People like this should be punished, and they should not be allowed to get away with their actions. These people are not only hurting themselves, but also the people who earn fame and glory the right way. Ultimately this type of ambition always ends up hurting others who are able to control their ambitions.

Nick's Days
Hello all this is Nick Weaver speaking, or typing. As a sophomore at Creighton Preparatory High School I better tell you all a little bit about myself. I am a youngest child which is the best by the way for all you oldest children out there. I have two older siblings who are both in college who go to Kansas University, which I think is just another one of those boring Midwest states except for Kansas City. I play soccer and run cross country here at Prep. I enjoy math and science the most at school, which I still don't enjoy too much. My least favorite subject is English (sorry Mrs. Hake) due to all the boring books we read. I'm taking precalc for math and AP chemistry for science, which has been very difficult all year. I have often been made fun of for having to go to 3 hour labs on the weekends for this class. My favorite class of the year so far has been Native American History with Mr. Glenn. I would highly recommend this class for anyone looking for a fun 85 minutes every day. I love listening to music especially to get through the terrible hours of homework. I listen to almost anything including country, rap, pop, and rock. I recently took part in "Grounds Crew" for freshman retreat which was a great experience to see and help the freshman throughout the retreat. It was also very enjoyable "taste testing" all the groups' various food. During the summers, I have a lawn mowing service throughout my neighborhood to make some money, but I plan on getting another job this summer. One of my favorite activities to do during the summer is to go to the College World Series games. It is one of my favorite events of the year, and I try to hit as many as I can. Otherwise I just enjoy spending time with my friends and family in my free time.
